I'm Tom, your recovery coach. I work with active men in Houston,
from athletes, weekend warriors and tradesmen to first responders and military.
For 30+ years, I've helped men in the Houston area recover faster, sleep better,
and deal with stress from life. Whether you're sore from training, tense from work,
or just need time away from everything, I've got you covered. I blend sports massage,
deep tissue and Swedish techniques to improve how your body moves and release

Sessions take place in my calm, private loft in Downtown Houston. It's conveniently located in the historic Market Square District.

How often should I get a massage?
It depends on your activity level. If you're active (gym, running,
sports, physical job), every 2-3 weeks helps with recovery and injury prevention.
If you're less intense, monthly sessions work. Some guys start with one session to
see how they feel, then book regularly. Text me and we can figure out what works
for your situation.
What should I expect at my first session?
We'll start by talking about what hurts and what you're hoping to get
from the session. Then you'll undress to your comfort level and lie face-down on the massage table
while I wash up. I'll work on your body in the following order: your upper and lower back and then
the back of each leg, in turn. I'll have you turn over for your arms, chest, abs, and finally the
front of your legs and each foot. I'll spend more time on your problem areas, of course.
Most guys say they feel significantly better immediately after.
Do you accept insurance?
No, but I'm happy to provide a receipt you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
What's the difference between sports massage and deep tissue?
Deep tissue uses firmer pressure to release chronic muscle tension and break
up knots. Sports massage focuses on muscle groups used in specific activities
(like your shoulders if you swim, or quads and glutes if you run) to improve performance
and recovery. Both are therapeutic. I adjust based on what you need. We'll talk about your
goals and I'll use whatever technique works best for you.
